Ambassador Kåre R. Aas visits Livsreise, the Norwegian Heritage Center located in Stoughton, Wisconsin.

On Sunday, January 24, 2016 the Livsreise staff and the Bryant Foundation were honored with a visit by Ambassador Kåre R. Aas, the Norwegian Ambassador to the U.S. Ambassador Aas’ visit was part of a tour of the American Midwest. Included in the visit was a trip to Vesterheim, the Norwegian American Museum located in Decorah, Iowa as well as a visit with officials from the Norwegian American Genealogy Center and Naeseth Library in Madison, Wisconsin. The Bryant Foundation, who owns and operates Livsreise, has corporative arrangements with both the Norwegian American Genealogy Center/Naeseth Library and with Vesterheim. The curator of the Vesterheim museum is also the consulting curator at Livsreise.
