More about the open position at Livsreise: Livsreise open hours are from Tuesday through Saturday from 9:00 am to 5 pm, with 1⁄2 hour for lunch. There are no medical or retirement benefits offered but there are 10 paid holidays per year and vacation and sick leave time are offered based upon years of service. Performance reviews are conducted at least annually, and acceptable performance is recognized. Livsreise is a state-of-the-art facility with a pleasant and relaxed working environment. A variety of tasks are offered to employees ranging from greeting visitors, helping with genealogy, showing videos, guiding tour groups, performing administrative tasks, working with various software, etc. This is an hourly paid position with a wage commensurate with duties performed and could vary based upon the skills of the employee. There i s opportunity for advancement. There is currently a full-time manager, one additional full-time employee and a part-time employee. There are several volunteers able to assist during group tours and at Syttende Mai. Livsreise is owned and operated by the Bryant Foundation.
