On October 3, Anne Kari Salbu, who is the co-owner of Sylvsmidja the largest maker of silver jewelry for Norwegian costumes visited Livsreise along with Andres Fagerthun, product consultant. The company was founded in Voss, Hordeland, in 1940. They are on a sales tour of the Midwest, including most recently having a display at Høstfest in Minot, N.D. They examined the bunad silver pieces here and told us that several of them are quite old. Stop by soon see them for yourself.
