Livsreise is pleased to welcome back Rasmus Sunde.

He was born in Vik, grew up in Jølster and lived in Balestrand. Dr. Sunde has a doctorate in migration history, and is an associate professor at the University of Sogn og Fjordane.

Dr. Sunde has written several books about migration history. His presentation will explain what immigration was like 175 years ago. We know many brave Norwegians left their homeland in hopes of a better life in North America. But what did they face once they left Norway?
